Effective date: June 25, 2026. By using sleepy.run, the hosted MCP endpoint, or a workspace API key, you agree to these terms.
Alpha service
Sleepy is provided as a hosted alpha service for evolutionary code optimization. The current alpha is free under workspace quotas. Paid tiers, billing, service-level commitments, and enterprise controls may be added later with separate notice or terms.
Your responsibilities
- Only submit code, benchmarks, prompts, metadata, and results that you are authorized to use with Sleepy.
- Do not submit secrets, production credentials, regulated personal data, or data that requires contractual controls Sleepy has not agreed to in writing.
- You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and deciding whether to use any evolved candidate.
- You are responsible for your local worker, test commands, benchmark commands, CI environment, and model-provider account.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sleepy to attack systems, evade security controls, violate laws, infringe rights, overload the hosted service, probe other workspaces, or attempt to extract another user's data. Sleepy may rate-limit, suspend, revoke keys, or delete workspaces that create risk for the service or other users.
Code, candidates, and improvement rights
As between you and Sleepy, you retain your rights in code and inputs you submit. You grant Sleepy permission to host, process, copy, store, analyze, and display run data as needed to provide the service, enforce quotas, debug issues, secure the platform, and support exports.
You also grant Sleepy permission to use run metadata, candidate outcomes, failure modes, benchmark results, and aggregated or de-identified learnings to evaluate and improve Sleepy, including meta-evolution of the service. Do not use Sleepy with code or data unless you can authorize that use.
Model and evaluator boundary
Sleepy does not hold your model API keys and does not run your code on the hosted service. Your MCP client supplies sampling, and your local worker or CI environment applies candidates, runs correctness gates, runs benchmarks, and reports fitness.
No guaranteed results
Sleepy may find faster code, slower code, broken code, or no useful change. Public examples are not a guarantee for your project. You must independently verify correctness, performance, licensing, security, and maintainability before using a candidate.
Availability and changes
The alpha may change, pause, degrade, or stop without notice. Sleepy may change quotas, disable features, rotate credentials, or migrate data as needed to operate the service cheaply and safely.
Termination
You may stop using Sleepy at any time. Sleepy may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, policy violations, or service operation needs. Workspace deletion requests are handled through support during the alpha.
Disclaimers and limits
Sleepy is provided "as is" and "as available" during alpha. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sleepy disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities.
Changes to these terms
Sleepy may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
